How do I apply?

 

STEP 1
Read the Prospectus and start thinking carefully about the subjects you might want to study. You will be able to talk to your subject teachers at School and during Open Evening for more advice. Talk to your Careers Adviser too.

 

STEP 2
Complete the Application Form and Choices Form online. Click Here

 

STEP 3
Submit your application online.
The deadline for applications is FRIDAY 22nd DECEMBER 2017.

 

STEP 4
You will receive confirmation that we have received your application week commencing MONDAY 15TH JANUARY 2018.

 

STEP 5
You will be invited to attend a formal Interview on TUESDAY 6th FEBRUARY 2018.

 

STEP 6
If you are successful, you will receive a provisional offer, week commencing MONDAY 19th FEBRUARY 2018.

 

ROUTEWAY 1
• This is open to students who expect to achieve a grade 4 or higher in GCSE English Language and GCSE Maths as well as 3 other GCSE passes at A* - C, or 9 - 4.
• It is strongly recommended that you achieve a Grade B or 6 in the subjects you study at A Level.


ROUTEWAY 2
• This is open to students who expect to achieve 4 GCSE passes at A*-C or grade 4 or above one of which should be English OR Maths at grade 4 or higher.
• For those students following this routeway, there will be the opportunity to re-sit GCSE Maths and/or English if required.
• It is strongly recommended that you choose subjects of a more vocational nature.

 

We are always happy to answer your questions about the 2 different routeways. If you wish to discuss the different routeways further, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Mrs Greenwood, Director of Post 16 Education or Mr Mannix, Head of Sixth Form.

 

Please choose up to 4 subjects that are worth 4 A Levels. Eg, you could choose:


Accounting 1 A Level
Business Studies 1 A Level
Spanish 1 A Level
History 1 A Level

 

Or, you could choose:
Applied Health and Social Care 2 A Levels
Applied Science 1 A Level
Applied Business 1 A Level

 

Please also choose 1 reserve. Please provide your option choices in order of preference to help us put together the best timetable possible.
